Training & Technical Assistance

The Safe Sisters Circle wants for Black women survivors to feel safe and centered at every organization they work with, not just at our organization. The Safe Sisters Circle is able to provide training and technical assistance to organizations that work with Black women survivors as well. Here are some potential training and technical assistance projects, but we are open to collaborating on additional ideas.

  • We provide training organization staff member’s on domestic violence and how to support survivors 

  • We provide training on culturally specific and trauma-informed approaches for established services.

  • We offer technical assistance on adding a culturally specific and trauma-informed lens to organizational policies.

  • We offer technical assistance on creating culturally specific and trauma-informed approach for new services.

  • We provide training tailored to constituents and clients of organizations on domestic violence and sexual assault resources in Washington, DC.
